I don't know why this copied web set has such a wide margin, and I don't understand CSS coding.So I was wondering if someone who knows, could help me make the text area wider and the margin smaller?...

Alice go into that skins Advanced CSS and look for the "wrapper" code. It should show a percentage of say 85%. Change that percentage to make it wider.

No, the 20px is the margin at the top and bottom of your forum. You can change it but I would not make that a percent. The auto is your left and right margin and that centers the forum.
